For 2012, this module is a project working with Swinton Lions Tales & More. An intergenerational oral history project, it captures and shares the memories and experiences of the former players from Swinton Lions Rugby League Football Club, its supporters and local people.

Swinton Lion's match!
It was cold but fun to watch the rugby match! The cheering of Swinton's supporters are great, made cheerful atmosphere. With such a powerful cheer, Swinton Lion won the game! Good team, I enjoyed so much!
There's some great shots here Mami. I also enjoyed the game and the overall experience - Gordon and I have spent the evening reading the programme which contains all sorts of interesting information.
Thanks for the pictures Mami. As a ex-rugby player I think that the mass of empty seats in the stadium would not be too inspiring or supportive for the players. Perhaps the exhibition design you are all about to propose could act as a catalyst for others to come along and enjoy the games in the future?
>Angharad Thank you for the comment! I think some of us (including me) might want to see your photo you took us as well!
>Chris? Yes, I feel sorry for the empty sheets.. but it was good and warm atmosphere at the opposite side even though there are not full of audiences. I felt warm local communities and it was as much fun and happy moment as the time when I watched Manchester United game which had full audiences. I want to make an immersive exhibition that people can feel that warm community so that people get interested in rugby more!
